Huge exploit in Fort Aspenwood and I mean huge.
Someone has discovered how they can kill the gatekeepers and gunther from the kurzick side. Using a combination of range spirits they can poison and bleed the NPCs causing them to die. Unless there is a monk around they will die.

Wait, are you saying the kurzicks can kill their own leader? I don't see how they can target gunther and their own gatekeepers with attack skills, and the spirits won't automatically trigger unless something is done to the npcs themselves.

Exactly what I am saying. They can transfer poison and bleeding to any NPC and then use EoE to start damaging them. Some idiot found out how to do this and was successfully killing gunther with no luxon help.
And I have just proven that it can be done. There is one key spirit that makes it possible.

Yep. Expect using sig of agony as the bleed lasts longer. Then you add a few extra spirits to add in the destruction and you have a fast way to kill the gatekeepers. It is also good for killing leachers.

Let's see, turtles still get stuck in the doors every other game, the map is barely playable from all the leechers (which they've directly said they aren't going to do anything about), the warrior packs can be stuck-glitched behind the terrain, it's possible to spawn packs of 8 warriors by using more stupid terrain glitching....
I'm going to have to take a wild guess and say Anet doesn't care about Aspenwood at all. One more nail in its coffin won't hurt.

That would explain what happened in RA earlier today. Our group was doing ok and we ran into one person who was degenning to death. He was a W/mo and he was in fact alone, but he had a bunch of spirits around him like EoE, Pestilance, Laceration, etc. I was wondering how on earth a W/Mo could do that, but I guess I didn't see one of the messages that a leaver had left. Was a nice free win and now I know why.

I've used it in the past to kill leechers on the luxon side. No more Survivor Exp farming there.
Pestilence, chilblains, sig of agony and low hp are the key.

its advanced grieving for bored people, as u can gain realy nothing by it. If u see a guylike that, dont res them when they die, and hope a healer can hold the conditions. or just leave rtaking out the fun for the griever.

Being that Aspenwood is a random arena there is no guarantees that you will have a monk and also this is just one more thing they have to deal with.
I was able to screw up the luxon side by killing all of the mine NPCs. This exploit has other applications as this just seems to be a noticeable one.

Sorry what do you get if you grieve like that? You don't earn anything for killing your allies. So is it an exploit? I don't think so. But as I never ran this mission maybe I'm missing some clue to it.
It is only an exploit of someone of opposing side delivers faction to friends by self sacrifice. Could be, but I'm not aware of how many sessions take place and that there is a guaranteed delivery of the faction to the right people, being friends and guildies.

For faction farming it can be hard(Although not impossible) to do, but for just some random idiot trying to screw up your playing time it can be annoying. Either way you should not be able to kill your own objective.

Resurrection is automatic in Aspenwood. And leaving is not going to make them stop, it'll only show them that their work is paying off.

Ive met a few of them in RA, well we left him rotting on the floor, and our monk was able to save our buts. The other time we were without monk, and you can easily guess what happens.
I would just jot down the name of the guy doiing it, putting him maybe in my friendslist (to see who he is playing) and jump in a match after he went in first. These people are nasty, but leaving might maybe result in a match without him. But as I told u I don't know how much sessions there are at the same time. Seeing it once is ok, but after the trick will grow old very soon. The only thing I think of it now, is that it is pathetic to do this repetetively.

But see even though you are doing that you aren't defending against the luxons. So it takes a monk away from the battle.
